A brand new shower oil is here! If you've never tried a certain French brand almond shower oil then you're in for a treat...
Foaming Shower Oils are our alternative to liquid body wash or bar soap. This is an oil that transforms into a gentle cleansing foamy milk once in contact with water. With essential oils for natural fragrance & formulated with more than 50% vegetable oils, this shower oil leaves your skin feeling nourished, moisturised & soft.
How to use: while in the shower, add a pea size amount (or one pump) of oil to your hands or a washcloth. Apply the oil to your skin, and as you stand under the water, the oil will turn into a milky foaming lather. Rinse thoroughly & enjoy the fresh scent of lemon myrtle.
Scent: lemon myrtle; fresh, sweet, lemony
Packaging: 250ml plastic pump bottle
Ingredients: Surfactant [MIPA-laureth sulfate & laureth-4 & propylene glycol], sweet almondo oil, grapeseed oil, MCT oil [caprylic/capric triglycerides], Australian lemon myrtle essential oil, vitamin E oil
What does a foaming shower oil do?
Our shower oil works just like a soap or liquid body wash; when lathered onto the skin with water, it breaks down dirt and helps to wash it away (that is the job of the surfactant). You can use it just like any soap - to wash your hands in the bathroom, or body in the shower. It has an oil texture before it mixes with water, making your shower feel infinitely more luxurious. While cleansing, our shower oil also moisturises and nourishes your skin, and leaves you smelling faintly of lemon myrtle.
Is it good for dry/sensitive skin?
Dry skin? Yes, for sure. It contains almond, grapeseed, and MCT oil, which is incredibly hydrating for your skin, however, we recommend doing a patch test before diving right in.
Sensitive skin? Well, it depends. If it's known what your skin is sensitive to, we recommend reading the ingredients list thoroughly and test it before lathering your whole body up. Our shower oils do contain essential oils, which some people are sensitive to.
