There may be traces of animal milks, honey, botanicals, essential oils, gluten (oats), coffee, real fruit and vegetables (cucumber, watermelon, etc), and nuts (walnut, etc). While we thoroughly wash all of our tools between uses, some allergens stick around (like gluten). If you are anaphylactic to any ingredients we list throughout the website, we recommend contacting us before purchase.
Please read the ingredients before purchasing our products, and always conduct a patch test before using them.

What is the Difference Between 'Made To Order' Products & 'Pre-Orders'?

'Made To Order' products differ from 'Pre-Ordered' products as we will make 'Made To Order' items as soon as possible, whereas 'Pre-Order' have a predetermined future dispatch date. 'Pre-Orders' will generally be for soap bars due to the time needed for curing. 

Any orders placed with products that are not 'Made to Order', or 'Pre-Order' will be shipped once all products from the order are ready. This is the standard way we will be processing and shipping orders in order to minimise your shipping costs. If you wish to have in stock items shipped earlier than your 'Made to Order' or 'Pre-Order' items, you can check them out separately, but will need to pay shipping for each order.

Eg. you order a shower steamer pack that is 'Made to Order' (dispatch within 5 days), a soap that is 'Pre-Order' (dispatch in 4 weeks), and a lip balm that is in stock now. All three of those items will be shipped together in 4 weeks once the soap is ready. If you want to receive your lip balm & shower steamer before the 4 week Pre-Order, you can order those two items together, and the soap separately. The lip balm & shower steamer will be sent out within 5 days and the soap will be sent out 4 weeks from your order date. As they have been sent out in two separate packages, shipping is paid on each order.  

Our soaps are weighed after the 6-8 week curing process just as they are ready for sale. Our labelling will say something like "125g at packaging", which means when we weighed the bar, it was 125g.
However, while it sits on our shelves waiting for you to buy it, it continues to cure (ie. water continues evaporating). This results in a harder and longer lasting bar, but also means that your soap will weigh a little less than advertised.  

The amount of essential oils used in our lip balms are safe for your lips; this has been approved by our insurance (who are incredibly particular about what they will & won't cover).
If you have any allergies, we always recommend testing a product in a discreet area before use.
